Project Overview
An innovative app that turns dreams into a gateway for self-discovery and connection. Users can record dreams, explore patterns with 3D visuals and mood tracking, and connect with others through shared dream key words. By blending creativity and technology, Dreamscape empowers users to uncover subconscious insights and build meaningful connections.
Intro
"I've always recorded my dreams in Apple Notes or talk to my friends right after waking up, while the details are still fresh. Over time, though, I noticed limitations—sometimes I’d forget parts, lose track of old notes, or struggle to recall. "

Community
Connect with fellow dreamers and explore dreams most similar to yours through keywords, fostering meaningful connections and shared insights!
TouchDesigner Results
Dream Specific
Users recording detailed dreams receive AI-generated dynamic dream imagery tailored to their descriptions.
Dream Characters
When users dream of specific people but lack other details, particle-based videos are generated based on character descriptions, with abstract and dynamic effects symbolizing the blurry and fleeting nature of dream characters.
Dream Objects
When users recall specific objects but not the full dream, visuals are generated using Plutchik's Wheel of Emotion, creating particle-based dynamic videos that reflect the fragmented and fading nature of dreams.
Dream Places
For chaotic or recurring dreams, users receive looping dynamic visuals created in TouchDesigner, with colors and patterns generated based on personal data.

Feedback and Findings
1. Butterfly Element's Ambiguity:
The butterfly motif doesn't universally evoke the concept of dreams for all users, making its connection to the theme less effective.
2. Curved Design Challenges:
The use of curved elements affects readability for some users, disrupts the overall page structure, and may impact app performance.
3. Lack of Engaging Insights:
The insights section lacks appeal and depth. It doesn’t provide enough meaningful analysis or actionable insights to capture user interest effectively.

Feedback and Findings
1. Overwhelming Data:
The analysis includes excessive data and content, making it difficult for users to identify key insights and focus on what’s important.
2. Inconsistent Layout and Spacing:
The curvature and spacing of the design elements are inconsistent, leading to a lack of cohesion in the page structure and logic flow.
